Men's Luge Singles - Historical Olympic Finish Rankings

I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with Team USA Luge over the last couple of months to produce a couple of different data stories highlighting various unique and important aspects of their sport. In the process, I really developed an appreciation for the skill, physicality and athleticism that is required to be successful at the highest levels of the sport.

Historically, three countries have done this better than any other, with Germany, Austria and Italy laying claim to roughly 85% of all medals won in Olympic Men’s Singles Luge since 1964. Throughout that time, there have been some incredible athletes that have really served to advance the sport while providing some amazing performances at the Olympic games.
