Peleliu

Day 16 of the #30DayMapChallenge is ‘Islands’, and I’m currently in a book by a man named Eugene Sledge, who was a former American Marine who fought in World War II on the tiny little island of Peleliu in the Pacific.

The book is ‘With the Old Breed’ and has thus far been fantastic!
